Lounges?

I apologise in advance for posting these question as it may seem so trivial. I did try the Swiss website and the contact no. in the US first but did not get any satisfactory answers. Is there a C/F Departure Lounge in BOS and ZRH? Is there an Arrivals Lounge in ZRH for C/F passengers? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

in Boston SWISS business-class-passengers are now welcome at the UA RCC (which also has a first-class 'spare).

in Zurich SWISS offers (in terminal A = the Swiss main terminal: a first, a business-class, and an elegant cigar-smoker Bar-club.

Also, on the luggage level of term A in ZRH, there is the Allegra Lounge for arriving guests providing showers, breakfasts and business quipment. I believe that the Allegra lounge is free for first and business-class guests from SWISS long-haule flights, but any one can enter paying a one-time/one-entry-fee (not sure, SFr 35?).

I have also 'heard' of a fabulous personalized 'arrivals service by Rudi' - when are you here?

Thanks for the information Rudi.

I will be flying into ZRH in the fall (departing BOS on 26 SEP 2002). I will have the privelege of experiencing Swiss' First Class Service. I literally just confirmed with airoli to make sure that at least one of my Swiss friends will be in CH when I arrive. And yes, I have heard a lot about the world-famous arrivals service by Rudi, which I hope would be available upon my arrival http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Lacking the proper chaffeur hat I'd probably be unable to live up to the Rudi standard, but perhaps a combination will do?

As for the lounges, Allegra will be free for you, as will be the First Class and C / Travelclub Lounges at ZRH departures. The 'Smoker's Lounge' however has been closed when Swissair stoped operating. I walked by it today and still no sign of a reopening.

Of course. I'm sure the arrivals service by Rudi allows me to bring one companion http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif It would also be a good opportunity for you two to see each other. I simply cannot wait!
