Problems with account balance?
Is it just me?
Quliflyer don't seem to be able to get my account balance right. On 16th August I flew AMS - Zurich in Business Class, they gave me 500 miles instead of 1,000. On 17th August I flew Zurich - BHX on Crossair in Business Class, they gave me 572 miles instead of 1,000.
I have 'phoned several times about this and they say they have corrected the mistake, but when I check my account balance on-line or via the telephone, there is no evidence of a change.
Anyone having similar problems?
Nick

Yes, but I've profited from it.
Took out to reward tickets in business OSL-NCE earlier this year for the lovely wife and I. They correctely deducted 50,000 in total, later inadvertedly cancelled my wife's ticket and credited me 25,000.
After reissuing her ticket they've forgotten to subtract 25,000!

I can only conclude that they must be using the same software as KLM Flying Dutchman http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
Perhaps Qualiflyer will be a candidate for the 2000 'Ayling' Awards - an invention of my own, the reverse of the Freddies, named after Bob Ayling former CEO of British Airways, issued to FFP's which have offered outstandingly bad customer service over the previous 12 months.
I was going to lauch this a couple of years ago, but there seemed no point as KLM and Air France would win everytime - now there seems to be some competition.
All I need now, is a sponsor - I am hoping a certain Swiss resident will be interested http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Hi
Swissair is currently updating their Qualiflyer software, which might be the cause for the problems. I flew both ZRH-BRU-ZRH and ZRH-AMS-ZRH last month and they didn't credit me my youth extra miles so far, so I called them and they said they will do so as they print my next milage statement.
Greets,
airoli

what are those youth miles you mention? I usually travel with youth fares, and never heard of such a thing...

Something really is bad in Qualiflyer land... after my 8th call about this problem I finally lost my temper and ask to complain - the supervisor I spoke to corrected the problem, but when I expressed my general dissatisfaction about the falling standards of the Qualiflyer program (not the airlines) I was told there were lots of complaints and it had been hell for her company over the last two months.
It really is starting to sound like KLM Flying Dutchman all over again!
It really is very sad when a high quality product goes south http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
Get well soon please Qualiflyer...

seems that the Qualiflyer is also run outside of SR/SN, in an undetermined country ( India, like its accounting ?). Seems that there is a high staff turnover as well, which might explain why many Qualiflyer staff hardly know anything. Well, this is applicable to BA Executive Club staff as well!!
