Honestly derek2010 , its worth the detour. Departing SIN on QR Qsuites ensures the SIN Qatar Business Premium Lounge is open (access on J/F BP only), and it easily beats a bunch of F lounges (I would say level with Pier F, but I am have home lounge dislike OneWorld Lounge Recommendation )

Besides QR, Air NZ also acquired CX 77As?

They sell it now as an add-on to J e.g. US$480 AKL-IAH

Indeed, Air New Zealand has been operating an exCX 77A since late 2023. They also have an exCX 77K (no F)

Row 11 or 12 for the J mini-cabin on an exCX 777? Just booked my HKG-DOH flight and seems like every J seat is available still!
