Since the cash based entry for J pax became a thing, has Al-Safwa become more crowded ?
Have the sleeper rooms become impossible to grab ?
Any specific times to avoid if you want to increase chances of having access to a sleeper room ?

@ Nizar - from my limited experience (including since the big increase in cost), AS remains mostly quiet.
But it’s by no means always impossible to get some decent rest in Al Mourjan - and thus save a lot of cash too !

I was there 4 or 5 times before the increase of the fee happened - the maximum number of other pax I saw there, was 12

I am sure I commented on Al Safwa back in April when I used it to connect to Tokyo; but I will again take my time to say I loved it.
I had a room. I slept well, I was refreshed and relaxed and it wasn't busy at all. At the time is was 300 QAR and it was a bargain; my only complaints were I didn't have time to eat properly as I wanted to sleep and wifi reception in my room was all buy impossible.
I will be back in Doha next month; however with only an hour layover I won't be visiting again at that price but if I had a longer connection I wouldn't hesitate to go back. In all honestly I am disappointed it is twice the price now because for the only price I would have probably gone there for an hour it was so good!
