From the menus I saw, it looked to me as though it was only the ultra long haul flights that were serving the Comtes de Blanc - mainly USA if I recall correctly. Not sure if this is still the case.
I remember trying it once on the A380 when it was being served in F class and the bar was serving F champagne to all premium pax. Preferred it to Krug!

Had Taittinger Comtes de Champagne 2006 in Al Safwa last weekend and the hallowed Krug in F on DOH-BKK (and in was in the printed menu). Me thinks Tatty is better.
In Al Safwa actually only Billecart-Salmon and Philipponnat Rose were on display.
Regional F had Billecart-Salmon and Lanson Rose.

I can confirm that Taittinger Comtes is no longer served in ULH business class (most recent experience BOS-DOH 2 days ago, where it was served in January), nor is it served in Al Safwa First Lounge (today). Billecart-Salmon is now the champagne of choice onboard, as well as in the lounge, though they do have another choice in Al Safwa (tried both and I preferred Billecart-Salmon)

Buy an economy class ticket and get free Krug onboard A380
Believe it or not : one of my friends bought an cheap economy class ticket and won an upgrade during the last Travel Festival lottery.
Not only he could use his upgrade voucher on the 4 sectors on his CDG-BKK return ticket to upgrade from Y to J but he also managed to get some Krug at the bar !

I managed to get it …
i flew j class bkk- doh in january and requested krug to the bar tender in the lounge. She referred me to the head purser who obliged and got krug for me.
