The fleet type codes such as 77P or 77K are what can be used to identify the type of aircraft under "Check Routing" on www.qrcargo.com. The aircraft type on QR Cargo is fairly accurate if you search for a flight within the current calendar month.

Well, DFW rotations actually take away the original BOS. Comes 1st DEC, DFW goes back 77W and BOS gets its 359 back.

Noticed not only BRU night departures but also ZRH that get original planned 359 back.

MLE would require one new plane on some nights of the week. TUE/THU/SAT/SUN (if my 359 rotations excel file is right)

So yes, the new 2 frames will pretty much help maintaining the original scheduled 359s on BRU/ZRH, and operating new MLE plus new 2/week ADL.
Still, there will be at least 2-4 A359s sunbathing in DOH from early morning till midnight.

But comes 9th DEC (when all of the above will happen), perhaps, we will see A7-ALO and A7-ALR joining the fleet?

Too many assumptions now

What I want to know is when they'll have enough 359s on hand to confirm the SFO start date.

And for good measure, LUN. Because I want to go to Zambia, with OneWorld, and refuse to succumb to BA's "fuel" surcharges

Hi, are planes in and out of Athens (i.e. A320-100/200) all have regional J seats only?

thanks

Hi, you may check www.qrcargo.com to see the aircraft that they plan to use on the day and timing of your flight. Please bear in mind though that this can change any time. Athens has 3 flights a day and sometimes you would see a widebody like the 77I or a 333H on their first flight to Athens. Out of the smaller planes, the 320L is the one that has the horizontal Diamond Seats. The rest may only have recliners. You may consult the wiki on top to see the full description of the aircraft.

Anyone else reckon we will see a B777 or even a A350/B787 replace the A333 on the DOH-TXL route , surely some heavy demand now that AB is out the equation ... especially on the AUH sector. Just a early morning thought

The TXL-DOH flight has been operating with a 777 for about three or four weeks now and appears to be scheduled that way for the rest of the year.

indeed. I am flying DOH-TXL soon and it most certainly is a B777. The originally A330 was swapped for a B777 sept 14 together with a small time change.

I'm on the DOH-TXL sector next year and still on a A333. So probs likely will be switched to a 777.

Great to see new A359s coming. Two A350 from Latam are suppose to leave next month I think.

Do we know when the last four A346 will be retired? You would think that with all those new 77Ws and 359s they would be gone soon.

Online it shows operated by A359, but seat maps show 2-2-2. Last time I flew this route and all the trip reports show the B/E Super Diamond seat with 1-2-1 config. Has it recently been changed to the A359M config?
Just flew this route QR70/69 and can confirm 2-2-2 seating which was an unpleasant surprise - certainly not reflected at time of booking. So ended up trapped in a window seat - managed to swap to an aisle on the return. Would probably have opted for a different route or carrier if I had known this. Obviously not a biggie if you are a couple or travelling with a friend/colleague.

Not often I got the longing to be back on a BA CW seat (single traveller)!

IFE super sensitive with a mind of its own and effectively ended up giving up on it - they didn't even load the moving map properly on the return until we landed. Will bring a good book next time.

Sadly it wasn't fitted with QSuite according to The Qatar Source...

"Qatar Airways A350-900 A7-ALO was delivered Toulouse – Doha this evening as QR3359. The aircraft is in 36J/247Y configuration and Large Logo/Medium Oryx livery and is the eighteenth A350-900 delivered to the airline."

I think the 777s and A350-1000 are first in line for Qsuite configs on delivery (or refit in the case of 777). I guess the A359s will continue to have the diamond seat (which is also pretty awesome in my view).
