The food selection looks a lot better and less "breakfast-y" on LHR-DOH vs. DOH-LHR.

Maybe a function of time of departure? Personally i think evening departures tend to have better menu options.

Just flown in on QR009 (DOH-LHR) in J, which takes off at 01.40. The menu was the same layout as above, large dinner selection with a smaller choice of breakfasts which surprised me a little given the T/O time.

The food was very good indeed; I had the veggie choice of potato & asparagus tart with feta, really tasty (have also tried the red onion & feta tart above which was also yummy). I'm not a vegetarian by the way! The breakfast choices were also good.

Over my last few flights the menus seem to have been roughly the same format & the standard of the food & presentation has been very good indeed.
