I am a silver QR member, thinking of taking a flight on my birthday, or +1 day to US. Do you think there will be special like an upgrade to biz class if the economy class is full?
and is economy restricted eligible for the free transit accommodation?

I doubt that you would be any more likely to receive an upgrade because you were travelling on your birthday.
QR's 777s have up to 335 passengers on board. So on a nearly full flight it is extremely likely that there is at least one birthday on the day of travel.
