Flew out of Nairobi the other day. As past reports indicate, QR uses the Swissport Aspire lounge. As lounges go it's pretty small. The food and drink options are just ok. They did have a pretty good Bordeaux red wine. It's no great shakes as far as lounges go but it's still a welcome escape from the awful old terminal that most foreign carriers have to use at NBO. The local flagship airline here, Kenya Airways, is in Sky Team. So there's no other Oneworld lounge alternative.

PAL62V take a look at oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location=MEL to see what lounges are available. According to the link there are three lounges with showers. Look at the access requirements since your Oneworld status may give access to lounges that your cabin class does not.

Probably the Plaza Premium Lounge that Cathay uses. The only other choice would be the PAL lounge.

Doesn't that make ARN now like OSL, where you must leave the lounge in plenty of time to get through passport control first, before getting to the gate? Wonder if Qatar could offer fast track through passport control.

Can Business Class passengers at MNL use the Cathay Pacific lounge at T3 now that QR has moved to T3, or is the PAGSS lounge still the only option?

Should be able to use the CX lounge by dint of QR being a Oneworld member, even if the QR checkin staff direct you to the airline's 'preferred' lounge.

Exactly correct! Don't be 'guided' to Qatar's preferred lounge, if you have status with Qatar Airways (Gold or Platinum) or are travelling on a business class ticket make sure to walk yourself over to the Cathay Pacific Lounge, miles better than the other option!

Knowing that you're entitled to use almost any lounge of a Oneworld member airline (or other alliance, as relevant) is a bit of a trick of the savvy frequent flyer. I've met so many people who are pretty regular business travellers, pretty savvy in their own fields and sometimes Oneworld Sapphires or Emeralds who had no idea about this - recent(ish) examples from my next of the woods would be those who'd check into a Qantas flight at LHR, in the time after the CX lounge opened but before the QF lounge opened, and QF checking staff directed them to the rather shite BA T3 business class or even slightly less dire BA T3 first class lounge... they had no idea they could have gone into the excellent CX lounges!

Unfortunately the CX lounge in MNL is "temporarily closed until further notice".
