Status credits calculator for other OneWorld airlines

but where is there a calculator for status credits on other OW airlines?

I want to work out the SC I will earn on BA (Comair) flights in South Africa in June.

(I may just touch the stratospheric heights of GOLD)

There isn't one! Use a site like this (http://gc.kls2.com/) to calculate a close estimate of the distance between the 2 cities, and then you can work it out from the table below:
http://www.qantas.com.au/fflyer/dyn/...status-credits

I use Mileage monkey:

Visit http://slfft.allhyper.com/0.95/award.htm

type in itinerary into the "oneWorld Explorer Validator".
Tick the box that says to ignore errors and click go.

After processing, down the bottom of the page will be the SC's earnt in Discount Economy, Business and First.

did not quite work as I thought it may (although a good site) gave me lifetime gold status from my booking - which is not right...

Do share, it could be the most used booking of all time if not too expensive.

Did you select the option to display results for QF? Other options include BA (tier points) or AA (miles)?

I suspect you have AA miles selected instead of QF SCs.

got it to work (as usual, operator error) and it gives me 560SC for my upcoming trip.

I will definitely go gold on that trip, I can't begin to imagine the riches which will be mine...

What happens if you move from PS to SG half way through a flight? Does that flight post as the new or old level?

Old ...

Check your subsequent flights; while they should post at the new level, sometimes they don't.

It may be you'll need to chase this up; although Qantas are pretty good with this.

Does anyone know if a return MEL - LAX - JFK will get 120 or 140 SC in discount economy? There is no real stop over in LAX, just a change of aircrafts.

You will get points and SCs for the sectors MEL-LAX and separately for LAX-JFK so long as the flight numbers are different (which they are). If you were on the SYD-LAX-JFK flight with a flight coupon that showed SYD-JFK, you'd get the points & SCs as if it were a non-stop flight (ignoring the fact that it does indeed stop in LAX).

Which confirms the old wisdom that it is good to book with as many flight numbers as you can.
