5 + 12 beers. Using NM's beer calculator, I should definitely get a BH (Big Hangover) from this bet...

Well, that moves you up from nothing to 33.3% above nothing. Might improve your chances somewhat.

Where and when? We have had a BNE get-together, a SYD get-together is 12 days away, where next?

CBR sounds like the go, perhaps we could book out completely one of those funny Dash-8 thingies. Call it QF FT or something or other.

No, I would think you'll all have BH's once you start drinking - after all, I've seen Willyroo and thadocta in action.

17 beers gives you a hangover?

And you call yourself an Aussie!

Best way to avoid a hangover is to make every fourth or fifth drink a glass of water. All a hangover is is a massive headache caused by dehydration. If you get the water into you whilst drinking, then this dehydration does not occur, hence, no hangover.

Let's get SYD done first, then plan CBR QC. We're slowly working down the Eastern Seaboard - MEL next??

Actually, imagine the CBR/SYD sector on the Dashy!! But would we be better on a bigger plane (more places to hide?)

I don't need an invitation to a QC - that's why I'm a WP

We missed OOL, but as far as lounges go, it is worth missing.

Would hate to be the sole FA on such a flight.

Can you imagine it?

FA: Sir, you are seated in an exit row, are you able to operate the emergency exit? If not, I will have to ask you to move.

Dave: Sorry, afraid not, too p***ed to do anything, only thing is that this plane is chockas and they are all as p***ed as I am.

9edited to correct spelling, otherwise you might assert that I've been drinking - unless tea qualifies??)

Actually what would be better, being the sole FA or being the sole non-FT'er on the flight??????.

In fact, imagine the seat allocation problems (except for Dave, he'd be down the back).

Hi Guys,

While I don't mind the banter about boozing and beers, sometimes it gets a little closed shop especially for us guys that didn't get to the Flyer Talk meeting in BNE.

I've completly lost the thread on what you guys thought up in regard to status eg: SG I know as Gold but for new people looking at the site and wishing to join in, it makes it a bit hard to undersatnd what on earth you are going on about.

Can we go back to refering to the various levels as they are in the QF handbook - to help the newbies out and make it a little more user friendly for those silent types out there on the verge of joining up. I think the more contributors to this forum the better.

On the topic of Booze. This whole thread (and many others) are often hijacked and I sort of lost my patience reading the same old same old. Now, I like a lot of the contributions that you guys make, but sometimes it gets a little like you really should be on ICQ rather than cluttering up a post with repeated comments about drinks in the QC.

I really thought hard about this and realised that I would be possibly shot down in a flame of ##### but I don't wish any harm and really just want to perhaps make the sight more relevant to the forum to which it belongs.

Sorry if I've put salt in your beer.

Best regards,
