Disturbed by RAAymond
Is it my imagination, or is QF becoming more and more like AA?
I have noticed now that Everyone Loves RAAymond is the norm on some weekday and all weekend flights.
What's next, CBS Eye on American?!!!???

goback, you mean that you actually watch the TV on flights. I go out of my way to miss the drivel that is programmed for the sector, preferring to work on my laptop while listening to a CD...makes the time pass.
Sorry, never been a fan of "Kath & Kym" or Raymond. Not my humour....

But Qantas now has Mythbusters!
Now that is a good show
Do prefer to sleep on sparrow morning/ late arvo/ night flights. Alcohol of course helps sleep on post 1/2pm flights
The problem with QF (domestic) in flight entertainment is when you've flown the same sector twice in one direction, you've pretty much seen their entertainment.
That's when laptops & ipods all help to kill the time!

Jack Thompson
Did Sydney return twice in a week, each flight showed "Enough Rope" with the Jack Thompson interview. I can understand them showing it in one direction, but both directions?
Gotta love the Ipod.

I love watching Adam and Jamie blowing things up or otherwise destroying things. And what poor Buster has to put up with!
Once when stuck in a Chicago hotel room for 3 days Discovery Channel had a Mythbusters Weekend which run almost constant episodes for the whole weekend. I was hooked!
Better than Kath and Kim or RAAmond anytime!

Mythbusters with a dubbed Portugese soundtrack seen in a UDI hotel is a novel experience (in May 05).
I loved last Monday's episode when "bullet-proof" glass was more of a trademark than a product warranty.

Actually I don't generally watch the TV (apart from the news), it's just hard to avoid to see what is on it. And I have been disturbed to see RAAymond up there, just like on AA.
Usually I'm listening to Giselle's selection on ch.8 for the first couple of hours of flight for the month, then it's a case of reverting to one's own music.

Last Nite got "the Great Outdoors", a bit strange showing a seven show directly after the nine afternoon news with Sharon Gidella.
No Ernie, but Shelly and Tom. Certainly a nice change from RAAmonfd or FrIENDS!
(Some yoear ago they had a few "Getaway" Segments as well).
