LHR-BDA is 3437 miles, so you will need to redeem zone 7 which is 42K points in Y or approx 55K points for WT+ (probably worth it as you have some chance to get upgraded to club along with the better WT+ seat).

It is Zone 4 requiring 2x (25K each way) + 2500 fee = 52,500 in Y.
+12,500 for upgrade to WT+ = 65K RT.

No you cant. Counts as 2 trips based on QF's definition.

Is this really true that any stopover on a one-way award is disallowed except on Oneworld awards? It boggles my mind that they would have such a rule. What if the previously example was LHR-SIN-SYD instead of LHR-BDA-MAN, is the stopover at SIN really prohibited? I'm not motivated very much to research this as I'll always be redeeming one-way Oneworld awards on QF, but I can't believe the rule is this way about no stopovers allowed on a one-way award. Was the problem in the last example the need to hub via LHR and that was the only reason it was 2 awards instead of 1?

#6's concept is true, as long as there are no stopovers. So it rather unrealistic.
