As a US citizen who frequently originates outside the USA, AA has a ton of trouble if you pay with a USA card for a ticket not in USD. I usually send AA a DM on Twitter and they re-run the fare within an hour or so for me to get it to go through so not a big deal but has been a necessary step for me if booking on aa.com.

They now often will send google flights visitors booking non USD flights to Amadeus directly to book which doesn’t have the issue. Downside is Amadeus doesn't have your saved passenger info + those flights can't be cancelled from aa.com after booking but must be cancelled over the phone.

I do not blame it on someone else but me!

BUD has similiar fares available, however plus about 150 EUR.

The fare can still be found, albeit with new restrictions on dates.

920 TP CDG to LAS, back from LAX in November.
CDG-LHR-HEL-JFK-LAX-LAS // LAX-JFK-LHR-HEL-LHR-CDG.

Hopefully there is something similiar coming up soon.
Sorry to hear that. BUD is often an option

You have 6 flights with the positioning one, how can you manage that ? I'm tired after 3

+1

Indeed, there are still a few November and January dates available. Use the GF Price Graph.
Found this one this morning. 720 TPs. JFK-LAX-JFK is easily upgradeable with SWUs or BizEx certs for T-Con First experience.

I suspect we will be spoiled with offers in the coming weeks and months as the airlines try to stimulate demand....

I think there will be good deals, but those deals may not necessarily be in J/F, given that the business travel which happens in J/F might not be avoidable.

When I first saw this thread a couple of days ago my reaction was to wish I lived in Europe so that it would be of some use to me.
For what it's worth, there was a JFK-CDG fare on AA/BA in J through AA Vacations in December for $1240 or so in J throughout 2020. Suspect it will come back at some point.

Exactly. That's why I didn't purchase this one since it didn't exactly line up with my needs. I figure something better fitting my schedule will pop up anyway.

Appears to be back for all dates again, just looking PHX as a destination:

I got this ticketed on AA European site. Ticketed with 001 number so I get the free change AA has rolled out.

May try to play around to get a fully non-AA coded itin work, but for this one I can use a SWU on the return.

3x Finnair A350, Club Suites to NYC, TCON and AA 77W. Nice!

Thanks. I reworked it a little and switched the LHR-HEL leg on the return to AY code for a few more AA EQDs.
