What I got a kick out of from the blog article, was their "re-composure" benches - sounds more like "time out" chairs to me.

I hope travelers litter the floors of the checkpoints with the biographies of the screeners.

Who in the world thinks this stuff up?

Is it just me, or does that lady in the blue shirt look like she's going in for a little "cupping?"

Up yours, Kip.

Want to improve the screening experience? Stop the harassment.

Get rid of:
  • The Shoe Carnival
  • Liquid Idiocy
  • BP/ID checking
  • Many of the items on the "prohibited" list
  • Secret rules
  • HaraSSSSment

Otherwise, you can take your mood lighting and biographies and all the other feel-good crap and shove them up your backside.

What a perfect quote! This pretty much sums up the whole thing doesn't it?

Good news is you can sip wine. Bad news, it can only be 3 oz. and has to be sipped from a 1 quart baggie.

Did he really say: "This is the first significant change to the checkpoint since the 1970s," TSA chief Kip Hawley said.

Might be difficult after I have had a few
I would certainly be calmer though.

I hope this cretin never works another day in his life, except for someone like the Iranian Information Ministry or the North Korean Department of Health of The Dear Leader.

Kip Hawley is an absolute disgrace who could foul up a cup of coffee. He's unqualified to shovel elephant dung or watch an automatic light system activate. Any company he goes to work for is doomed to incompetence.

My BS detector also buzzed repeatedly at the word "harmless" and the sentence about deleting images of passengers' bodies--the fact that the article went out of its way to insert those words says to me that 1) there will be at least some risk involved in the "harmless radio waves" and that 2) the images of passengers' bodies will prove to be of interest, ranging from comedic to prurient, for at least a few screeners who will figure out how to store them.
