Rules re: "Comment Cards?"

So here at TPA the TSA folks tell me they've never heard of anyone asking for a "Comment Card," and they are certain they aren't required to give me any contact info for anyone, other than a generic [email protected] sort of email address.

I fly a fair bit, and even podunk airports have handed me comment cards, so I figured it was a standard thing.

Enlighten me, oh FT gurus....

You're supposed to get one if you ask. If the airport is out, get their name/badge number and ask for one at your destination, or on your return flight. I have gotten into the routine of asking for one at every US airport I go to... even if I have nothing to comment about, I just like having a few extras for when I get an asinine TSO/Sup that won't make it easy for me to get one.

Without making too many comparisions between TSA's hiring pool and workers in other industries, "running out of comment cards" is a time-honored ploy at fast food restaurants where the manager knows there are issues but doesn't want to make it too easy for customers to complain.
