You're supposed to get one if you ask. If the airport is out, get their name/badge number and ask for one at your destination, or on your return flight. I have gotten into the routine of asking for one at every US airport I go to... even if I have nothing to comment about, I just like having a few extras for when I get an asinine TSO/Sup that won't make it easy for me to get one.
