Surprising that the number of responses (now 59%) that echo the sheeple mentality is still so high...

Great article. I loved the pilot's comments ^

I have carried several gels and a bottle of lotion through in my pockets (the lotion was unintentional).

I just voted and it's down around 57% now. It's good to see at least a third of the respondents is pissed off. That's probably the third that are frequent flyers too.

Keep voting, down to 56% :)

If you haven't voted, please do so; I think we've helped bring that down about 4 percentage points so far. :) ^

About half way down...

"...A business executive said he always traveled with hand sanitizer in his pocket because he worries about germs on planes. He has made about 10 trips since the restrictions went into effect and hasn't been caught.

Live Vote
Would you sneak banned items onboard?

Since the rules went into effect, most travelers have abided by the law, packing their hand cream, hair gel and toothpaste in their checked luggage or leaving the items at home. The flouters, however, say they hate the hassle of long waits at baggage carousels and worry that their expensive bottles of perfume will be broken or stolen if placed in their checked luggage..."

Down to 55% ^

Not there for me. Hmmm... Maybe our filter is too good and is removing it from the page. Guess I will have to try at home.

I believe the poll only shows up on the MSNBC reprinting of the WP story and not the original in the Post, if that helps.

Flyin'Mom Sep 13, 2006 1:21 pm

I voted; we're down to 55% :)
