Edited to add that CostCo in Wenatchee is selling $100 gift certificates to Cave B Inn for $79.95 each. They're good at the Inn, the spa, and at Tendrils restaurant. |

I did go back there a few weeks ago w/ some peeps and it was... well... expensive pizza. I had a sausage and peppers pizza and honestly, could have probably eaten 3 of them. You can tell that the ingredients and toppings are fresh... but dude... it's just pizza! ;) I think Via Tribunali is better AND they're opening a location at the tpo of Queen Anne. Pizza-wise, I'll always have a special place in my heart for Northlake and Zeek's. |

You said you'd be willing to travel south - why not go to Cannon Beach ORE and have dinner at the Stephanie Inn? Lovely place, great views, good wine.
Or travel north to Wickanish Inn on Vancouver Island (outside Torino). |

Umm. . I live on Bainbridge ;) that's the name of the restaurant - at the end of Winslow. However; there is a place in Cannon Beach with the same name run by the same people who run Stephanie Inn.

EDIT: So we went, we ate, we left. Soooo not impressed. The pizza is alright but nothing to write home about. I have one of the potato ones and I've had a better potato topped pizza in Puyallup and a mom and pop joint. $24.00 for a pizza and 1 glass of wine. I will not be going back. |

In conjunction with some previous talk about the Herbfarm, in today's (4.13.07) Seattle Pi, there is an article, link below, regarding a "fundraiser" that the Herbfarm is putting together.
The Herbfarms participates in fundraiser For most mortals, dinner at The Herbfarm is reserved for special occasions. But there's a heavenly feel-good dinner coming up April 19, an appetizer to this summer's Share Our Strength "Taste of the Nation: Eat, Drink & End Childhood Hunger" on July 19. "A Tasteful Pursuit" also focuses on combating childhood hunger, with fundraising events at some of the country's most renowned restaurants. This year's lineup includes The American Restaurant in Kansas City, Cafe Boulud in Palm Beach, Fla., and Lola Bistro in Cleveland. The Herbfarm is the only Northwest venue on this year's tour. An all-star team of chefs will collaborate on the six-course menu. Jason Wilson from Crush, Matt Dillon from Sitka & Spruce (recently named one of the country's best new chefs by Food & Wine magazine), Michael Ginor from Hudson Valley Foie Gras and Don Yamauchi from Tribute in Farmington Hills, Mich., will join Jerry Traunfeld in that dazzling display kitchen.
