I have to concur on the Space Needle. Icky food for the price.
Flying Fish is a great place. Good seafood and a trendy people watch bar.
Another good choice is Daliah Loungs, as per an above post.
There is always Ocean Aire. Over hyped but the food is very fresh and well prepared. I have never had a bad meal there.

The Seattle underground tour is an absolute must for any Seattle visitor and if you are into rock music or if you even only just heard the name, Jimi Hendrix you must visit the Experience Sound Project.

Chexfan, Being a responsible parent, I would absolutely have to check you out myself before introducing you to my stepdaughter!

Is going to San Diego out of the question?

How 'bout Tacos Guyamas? They block that road off next to it. It's always packed there on May 5th and I'm assuming that it's walking distance for you.

Ooh..Tacos Guyamas is a good choice. We need to food to fuel our drinking...

Ok- I just looked over the website. Looks like they got a lot of wineries, and some buffet thing for $10.00. The place that they are holding it in is a big indoor football/soccer field at University of Washington (go Dawgs!). So the ambiance is not stellar.

I have never been, nor would I attend unless someone else is paying for it.

It's just a big fundraiser for the marching band.

AND it's 40 bones to get in.

There are some local wine experts on FT who may be able to give some insight on this event.
