I don't know. For me, they're OK. I think the ones in Portland are better. Plus, I think there are just better Brewpubs in Seattle.

Off the top of my head...
* St. Andrew's (Green Lake)
* Hilltop (Queen Ann)
* Wedgewood Ale House
* Collin's Pub (Downtown)
* 74th St Ale House
* Elliott Bay Brewing (W. Seattle Junction)

Might want to put Crush on your list these days. Very yummy and good wine list.

Bring money. Lots.

I love McMenamin's...no matter where I'm at. As long as they have either Hammerhead or Ruby, I won't complain. :D

But I'm open to trying the others when I'm up in Seattle again. I'm not THAT much of a beer snob.

Ok, the beer might be OK, but the food stinks. Big time. It's not even "special". It's just pub food. I can think of a lot better pub food in Seattle, that happen to also sell beer.

Can we add an "e" to Queen Anne? :p

St. Andrews is the CLEANEST place I have ever been to on Aurora. Even the bathroom at midnight one night was clean.

missed one...

Try Brouwer's in the Fremont District, across the street from the organic chocolate shop.

It's a good taste of daub and other interesting things from the low countries.
And, of course, quite a selection of beer.

Brouwers is YUMMY! ... and I'll be trying Quinns this weekend.

Mooberry just opened up in Ballard on Market. The reviews on Yelp say it's good...haven't had time to go myself...must do that.

There is also one opening on the Ave at 47th. When it's opened I'll stop on in...

One opening in Fremont at 34th & Fremont Ave.

Oooh- I saw that.

The new one opened awhile back on the Ave. It's called "Cita". I like it. Their pomegranate special is great. And they load up the cup.

I also have tried the new Red Mango in Pacific Place. They weigh the darn cups! How tacky. Not as good as Cita. A lot more icy.

I will have to try to stop buy MooBerry in Ballard this weekend.

We went on saturday night. I had high expectations, and they were exceeded. ^

apparently I never followed up on my visit to Quinns.

I've been there for lunch 3 times and dinner twice. Its really REALLY good.

Everything I've ordered has surpassed expectation.

I'm rather fond of the meatball and creamy polenta appetizer, and my S/O <hearts> the cheeseburger.

It's now the restaurant that we compare everything else to.

Last night we ate at Cafe Nola on Bainbridge and both of us were like "It was good, but its no Quinns"

Greetings, all. I did a spur-of-the-moment Seattle trip this past weekend in order to meet one of my best friends and we ended up doing several happy hours. We were particularly impressed by Sazerac; for $15 a person, we downed a decent amount of Stella and filled our bellies with --well above average-- happy hour dishes (doing the same at other comparable happy hours typically costs us twice as much).

So I drop off the face of Flyertalk and not much happening on the boards when I get back!

Anyone go to anything new and fun?
