Go to Pike Place Market, all the seafood vendors have smoked salmon. I get the smoked King Salmon at Pike Place Fish Market, and it's excellent. They'll give you a sample to taste.

I enjoyed breakfast at the Athenian Inn in Pike Place Public Market. I know it was a very 'touristy' thing to do especially with the Sleepless in Seattle links but the food was good, the view from the window seats looking out over the water were good and the market was buzzing.

Zagat Review here.

Sunday Brunch in Seattle

The wife and I are doing a last of the CO DEQM Promo MR before it runs out 6/15. Decided to do a LGA-IAH-SEA run ($604 a/i)....will land very late Saturday night in SEA.

Have an El Cheapo Marriott Courtyard in Tukwila (2 nights $155 a/i) and got a cheap LM Special from national for $60 (a/i) for the 2 days. Thinking about dumping the el cheapo courtyard for a downtown hotel. Trying to see if something comes up better in a downtown hotel (like $125 a night, 4 star or better).

Anyway, a longtime friend from Vancouver, BC is coming down for Brunch on Sunday around noon. Can anyone recommend a good brunch (price not an issue, but not super duper fancy want to be casual) with good seafood and maybe a good view.

Any help would be appreciated.

Seattle isn't really a super duper fancy kinda place. Other than maybe Canlis, you can go casual just about anywhere.

Salty's and Anthony's have locations on the water very near the airport if that is your preference.

I've been pleased with Cutters Bay House, right next to the Pike Place Market. (http://www.cuttersbayhouse.com/) It's casual, open Sunday, and has a great view of Elliott bay. Did I say it's right next to the market?

Great location at S. Lake Union - Chandler's Crabhouse - http://www.schwartzbros.com/chandlers.cfm

It would seem I've neglected to pay proper homage to my favoritist burger place.

LunchBox Laboratory

This guy, ate there 20 times in 30 days and took photos.

I haven't been there that many times, but this is a photo from my last visit.
