Ahhh, but beware Porter's pricing policy. When I went to book my flight to Newark at 20% off, what a surprise to find I would be paying more than the regular fare posted only 8 days earlier. The 'regular price' had increased by 24%, so with 20% off it was actually more expensive. Is this misleading? The flight is still 7 weeks away. Needless to say I am not impressed. Had I not checked the prices the week before, I would have thought I was actually getting the advertised deal. Instead I feel ripped off.
So, buyer beware.

Interesting. When I called customer service for an explanation the Porter representative denied there was a price increase at all, and said that my experience must have been as a result of the seats on that particular flight selling quickly, triggering a price increase for the few remaining seats. However, the price increases appear to be 'across the board' rather than limited to a particular flight (at least in respect to Newark, which is all I checked).

All fares on all airlines have gone up and as with all airlines the fewer the seats (higher the demand) the higher the fare will go.
