Ahhh, but beware Porter's pricing policy. When I went to book my flight to Newark at 20% off, what a surprise to find I would be paying more than the regular fare posted only 8 days earlier. The 'regular price' had increased by 24%, so with 20% off it was actually more expensive. Is this misleading? The flight is still 7 weeks away. Needless to say I am not impressed. Had I not checked the prices the week before, I would have thought I was actually getting the advertised deal. Instead I feel ripped off.
So, buyer beware.
As I noticed elsewhere and asked in the other Porter thread, all fares have gone up even for other carriers (ex: AC). So it's not a Porter pricing policy as it is an all airlines pricing policy.
