Randy, check out this thread and let us know if you feel as I do, that this is a scam.

Are there similar threads on the other airline boards? If so, obtain this person's email address from some of the posters and you should make sure that this individual is blocked from any posts on FT.
You should also post a warning on the boards making people aware of what is happening. There are many legitimate charities that miles can be donated to with the assurance that they are going to worthwhile people.

Looks suss to me at first read. I do not post on Delta board and did not get the email, and many on there clearly did, so looks "targeted" to regular DL posters. I post on 3 or 4 other airline boards and did not receive any version of the same thing, so might be someone specifically after DL miles, genuinely or otherwise - who knows?

It's not a scam. It's the annoying 14 year old DALATL.
