I just tried a very simple itinerary LHR-LAX-HKG-SYD-DOH-LHR, business class, departing in April
The first screen accepts the itinerary OK
But I cannot move to the second screen (to choose flights)
The error message against the LHR-LAX segment is:
"For the date you selected, we were unable to find any availability, please select an alternate day."
I've tried numerous dates in April with the same result
Expertflyer says there's plenty of availability on AA and BA non-stops

ETA Congrats on your first post OP

Thats the error message I was getting so I tried entering a variety of Home Cities (LHR, LAX, CDG, NAR) all without success. I was able to price out a different itinerary on March 1 so it looks like the website is currently broken.

Yes, nothing seems to be working. I also keep getting the same error message. I have been unable to find any DONE3 or DONE4 flights out of TYO on any date until end September.
However, if I select AONE3 and then select business class flights (because First is not sold/available) it will reprice as DONE3...

Look on the bright side. It can't be worse than the existing tool. At least OW appears to be doing something/anything!

In 2019, I was able to complete ex-HND DONE3 online with 16 segments. Called CX to ticket.

Now I try to replicate almost the same itinerary, I couldn't get to verifying the FIRST segment!

Tried a RTW yesterday - no joy.
Late June and it's still unusable, not that it ever was more than barely usable.
Any 13 year old could cobble together a better website.

edit:
It actually worked, after a fashion, yesterday. If I entered BKK it entered Baku! Even if I typed Bangkok it put in Bangor or some such nonsense. I finally figured out that if I typed Bangkok in the window below it worked. Blimey!

The biggest issue was at the opening page I was very careful. I entered Business class. On the last leg, TYO-LAX, for some goofy reason all the JAL flights came up as Economy and there was no way to change that! What a clown show.

I managed to get the oneworld tool (oneworld explorer) to give me a price for the first time today, however, I had to take out one flight which it could not seem to find. I tried to include AKL-HKG in the tool (departing AKL 14th June) but when it came round to finding a flight it could not find the direct flight serviced by CX and I was offered several options with at least one stop. Is this a bug or is there a reason why the flight was not offered?

Can anyone advise as to why the oneworld tool seems to fail after initially indicating a trip as valid. I enter all the destinations and it seems to fulfil the oneworld Explorer rules, but when I select "Choose flights" I get an error message and is not showing me direct flights from Oslo to Doha but routing me via London?

The online tool doesn't allow QR on the first segment. You have to ticket though one of the other OW carriers to do that, or a travel agent. AA will likely ticket it for you. That's not a bug, QR won't ticket RTW itineraries, so the OW tool excludes them from being the first segment.

I can't speak to the validity of the rest of your itinerary and how you're at 19 segments here when I can see 16 segments on your worksheet. But you've seemingly got an extra connection somewhere that will need eliminated aside from these LHRs between OSL and DOH.

Ah, I was not aware of the fact that QR can't be first flight. Explains why the tool was routing me via London thus the additional flight. There are no other connections so must be forcing a connection further on. I have tried two travel agents that specialise RTW but they seem to like "standard" trips and having difficulty pricing... Look like a call to AA!
