I have updated the chart with all data provided on and after August 29th.

Sorry for the delay, but I have sometimes to do some regular work

Others(Extra baggage allowance)
JL: 20kg/2pc
CX/KA:20kg/1pc

JL's 'COS=Status Miles' is a little complicated.

For Japan domestic flights:
Status Miles = Flight Miles * 2.0
For JL operated Japan-China,Hongkong flights:
Status Miles = Flight Miles * 1.5

For example, domestic 500 (real flown) miles of Business class earns
500 * 1.25 * 2.0 = 1,500 (Status Miles).
BTW, during whole 2008, 400 Status Miles bonus provided,
So your actual earning is 1,900 Status Miles.

Actually I think there is one small point regarding CX that needs to be clarified. I think u do need to fly 4 CX sectors as well and not just oneworld. (although I am not 100% sure whether they enforce this).

Thanks, I have updated this information. I have put the 2008 bonus in the "others" field while I have written the COS in the COS field.

Mea culpa, I should have written CX / DA instead of OW (OW was copy and past, but obviously at the wrong place). Thanks for putting my attention to my mistake.

JMB update

Some updates for JAL Mileage Bank that will become effective come Apr.2009.
A big devaluation from 2008 and even more complexity!

Upgrade domestic / continental / international (one way / one class)

Diamond
40 upgrade points + 2 upgrade points per 10K fly on points (FOP) over 100K FOP

JGC Premier
30 upgrade points + 2 upgrade points per 10K FOP over 80K FOP

*Upgrade points required for:
domestic : 2 points
international : 5 to 12 points depending on class and route

Great job FLYGVA! I thought I would offer some amendments to AY Plat.

12 upgrade vouchers are for Europe (not Finland/Northern Europe)

Points expiry is 5yrs for other levels but as Platinum your points do not expire for as long as you remain Plat.

Others: Regardless of travel class, you may take up to 40 kilograms of baggage at no extra charge on any scheduled flight operated by Finnair when your ticket has been issued in the Finnair quota

I have updated the overview.

Since JAL is again very complicated, if might be worth if someone with a deeper knowledge of the programm may doublecheck it.

As far as I understand the changes in the JAL programm and in the JAL forum , as Emerald (JGC Premier / JMB Diamond) you will get 2 add. pts for every 10k FOP or every 10 flights in the previoius year. To me, this means you will get at least 20 additional FOP.

I have updated the thread with Mexicana and also the news in AY and some things on smaller corrections of BA.

I did not find anything about higher baggage allowances for MX elites like other ow airlines offer for their own elites. And the hidden benefits are a bit difficult to find

As everytime, you input is much appreciated, esp. since it took me a bit longer than expected (it should have been finished in November 2009)

Hi FLYGVA,
Some changes necessary for the JAL Mileage bank details for JGCP as follows:

Miles / KM / points need for status [Year / 12 Month]
and Miles / KM / Points need for requalification
[ 80K or 80 flights with min 25K on OW ] + 4 JAL flights

Lifetime status (for JGC members)
OW Sapphire (if JGC fees paid)

KIXman, thank for the heads up.

I have updated the overview. I think the JAL is still a bit complicated, but I hope I got everything sored out. Otherwise let me know.

I have updated the overview with S7 and the data I found on the web. I searched for t&c but found only the ones in Russian Language. Therefore I have no idea how long the miles remain valid.

Thanks for this useful chart. But I believe you have BA bonus miles for AA elites wrong. You say BA does not earn a 100% bonus, but now it does.
