That was my experience too. Apart from all the hassles getting information out of them, the e-mails in all caps liberally laced with spelling and grammatical errors did nothing to dispel a sense of their lack of service orientation (if not downright incompetence).

Incompetence and lack of service orientation...
EXACTLY...............
I wonder to whom I would write at CX to give feed back?
What I found with all telephone contacts: They turn their phones on at 930am and off at 350PM when the hours of phone service was stated on the recording as 8:50 am to 450pm. They also cut off fax lines at 350pm and do not turn them on until 10:30 am- 11:00am.
They were one week late in processing my Credit card costing me $500 more on the exchange rate. A point I put in my Credit card instructions to them.
I have had better customer service from the US Post office and the IRS!!!

An interesting development:
I requested a breakdown of the taxes from CX JNB. The agent who ticketed my AONE4 told me when ticket was issued the calculations were deleted from the system. Does that seem like a crock?

She then stated she could re compute the taxes but that taxes all went up and would cost more for just re -computing them.
Then she sent me the following BS:

In a subsequent E mail I sent her I stated the taxes were less that was on my ticket total she e-mailed me this:
Yes, beside that there are all the Q138.7. Therefore you looking at a difference of ZAR1100+83 = ZAR1183
Does this seem right to you???
