FYI, BA will start offering First to SAN soon. They will also switch to a 747 for the summer months. Looks like the first bookable flight is March 27th. They will switch back to the 777, also with First, in the fall.

That route must be doing even better than AUS to warrant a 747
The Combo of AA/BA/Alaska/JAL makes sense for many in San Diego. Will be flying this route a bunch this year, will update the loads as I do. |
Thanks for the updates. OP is updated to here.

There's a rumor that QR will bring the A-380 to SYD-DOH starting in June.

JAL has First HND-SFO through EOS.
|
Am I right that AA LAX SYD is missing from the list?
|
btw I think that F has been temporarily removed from BA LHR-NRT
But it is on LHR-HND |
Is HND-HKG with JL getting First soon? It's listed as a route offering First in September, but I'm not seeing any redemption availability.
|
The inaugural QR DOH-ATL flight on June 1st will be flown with an A-380. After that, no F on that route, however.
|
BA announces it will serve LHR-SCL with a 789 from January 2017. It'll have F.
The sector length is about 14 hours. This will be numbered BA 250 (SCL-LHR) and BA 251 (LHR-SCL). There is bucket loads of reward availability, although as the flights are still being loaded, it may take a few hours to appear on the systems. |
Shouldn't QR
DOH-SYD is only from sep 15 and currently seasonal (W) if I understand it correctly. |

I built on Kiwi Flyer's post 2 and made a Wiki from it, so that we can update as we go. :)
I updated a few things, like combining LA/JJ into LATAM (still no F) and, under BA, finally moving ATL from LGW to LHR :D |

Yes, from 15th SEPT and onwards. Perhaps only winter season, but it is bookable way into june 2017 at least

I believe that there's no more QR F service to/from BKK. It's currently running 4×77W daily with J and Y only (interestingly, 2 of the flights leave DOH simultaneously). Rumor is that F service on the 388 will resume shortly after the first of the year.

Updated the AA section based upon schedules for Jun & Dec from Expert Flyer. Most cities are now 772, 788, or 789 therefore no 1st class.
|
I volunteered to clean up the CX section.
|
I cleaned up the BA section, removing some fifth freedom flights that no longer operate:
Muscat Between Bahrain and Doha Between Bridgetown and Port of Spain Tobago LGW-BGI still has F but no longer has any tag flights beyond it. POS is now a tag on UVF and still has F. TAB is now a tag on ANU and no longer has F. |

That post was written on October 1, 2016, 7½ months ago. Yes, I'm fairly certain that it was accurate when written. You may recall that the 388s were taken off BKK for a while due to late aircraft deliveries.
Dr. HFH - Please accept my sincerest apologies! Sorry! |

Trying to be useful, I'd like to add that QR has A388 scheduled on DOH-MEL starting june 30. Daily A388 for winter season (171029--180324) |

No problem, -- I have been known to make much sillier mistakes than that one!!
As I intended, Global321 apparently felt neither offended nor shot down; so I'm not sure why you would. Lighten up a little!! ;) |
I edited the Wiki to note that AA LAX-SYD switches to a 787, so no first class, in November 2017, and also to add LAX-HKG.
|
CX first class has already been discontinued on the following routes:
Between Hong Kong and Jakarta CX first class will be discontinued from March 25, 2018 on the following routes: Between Hong Kong and Bangkok Manila Taipei Tokyo NRT The only intra-Asian first class route left will be Tokyo HND. |
Edited Wiki for the CX changes in #232 , QR changes in #228 , and added notes for the QF changes coming in March (switch A380 from DXB back to SIN)
|
Edited Wiki to reflect no more 1st class offered on MIA-SCL 772
|
Looks like F is back on the HKG CGK route on some days over the CX summer schedule between September and October.
