Thanks. I have been flying a lot of HKG-BKK in the last 16 months and have not been on a single flight that has first.

But, I believe you are right.... there is one flight a day with Prem. Economy, which I am guessing is the 77W.

77W/77H has first class. (4 classes)
77W/77D doesn't have first class (3 classes with PY)
333/33G C,PY,Y

Don't expect too much :)

Thanks for the updates. OP is updated to here.

Yea, CX does fly first occ to BKK and SIN. I was looking using avios. The whole weekend there was one flight to SIN with first. Don't know why there are so many to TPE when it is so short, and junky business seats to SIN (not lie-flat)

Unlikely to see any 744s on this route any more, of course. Also, even with 773 aircraft with F cabins, often they are not sold on this route. DMs can often sit in the F cabin, though, but it's J food and service.

TrAAveller Jun 15, 2015 1:18 pm

Please update your OneWorld First Routes post to include the
  • AA DFW-SCL
  • AA DFW-PVG
  • AA DFW-MAD (summer seasonal)
  • AA MIA-MAD
  • AA MIA-SCL (winter seasonal)
  • AA LAX-GRU
  • AA LAX-EZE
  • QR DOH-BKK

Please update the AA language "Only 3-class flights (777 and 767-200 aircraft) are listed below." as they no longer fly the 767-200 with First. It can just read:
Only International Flagship First Class is only offered on the 777-200 and 777-300ER aircraft. Note: The "777-200 Retrofit" does not have First Class.
Also, Malaysia Airlines can be updated to "none" since they just sold off their entire A380s which was the only routes with widebody first class.

jjakobv84 Jun 16, 2015 2:37 am

BA is adding First to the LHR-AUS route starting Oct 25 when they switch out the current 787 for a 777-200.

No they haven't.

Agreed, but it does appear all but certain for the future.

Calchas Jun 18, 2015 8:16 am

LGW-JFK on BA hasn't existed for a while

Can't find F between HKG and MEL or SYD - have they stopped these?

CX stopped years ago.
QF stopped F for MEL-HKG years ago (when they started their alliance with EK and dropped MEL-HKG-LHR).
QF stopped F for SYD-HKG more recently. Even though A380 operates in peak travel dates there is no F sold.

I edited my earlier reply to clarify by airline.

Calchas Jun 20, 2015 1:07 am

DFW-EZE might need to be changed to "some flights". It isn't available on a scheduled service I have coming up (on the 787)

Do you know which Airlines DO fly F to Melbourne/Syd now? The front page is a little outdated :/

CX is talking about bringing back first class to Australia. But so far it appears to be talk.

You would imagine that SYDHKG would be a profitable route for premium pax.

Surely with Etihad offering their First Class Apartments on the AUH - SYD route, they'd want to give people another option with their F class. Guess not.

Side note - why is everyone saying Etihad First Class Champagne sucks?

AA is running a three class 777-200 on RDU-LHR this summer

That route is underwritten by a bunch of software companies isn't it? I am surprised it's only two class normally

From what I understand, the subsidies the pharma companies were giving the route have long since tried up. The 777 is being used while the usual 767-300s that fly the route are being retrofitted with the new AA Business seat

I think the AA one still exists. There are many FT references that Research Triangle Regional Partnership guarantee's x seats per flight. But, because the agreement is confidential, no one knows for sure.

As for the airplane type, the 777 has made numerous appearances during the summer months. (That does not discount the 767-300 retrofit or being returned to this route in the fall.)

Not in my experience. And they usually have a bottle or two of something special that's not on the menu, if you know to ask for it

Please update to add CX HKG/BOS.

Done. OP is updated to here.

DEQ11 Aug 12, 2015 12:09 pm

Please add JL SFO/HND

Edit:
Several of the JL routes are out of date. There is no longer F from NRT/JKT. See here for the current routes https://www.jal.co.jp/en/inflight/inter/rosen/

Dr. HFH Sep 6, 2015 12:32 am

JL NRT/CGK has no F service. Currently served with a mixture of 767, 787, 788 and 789. F service resumes on October 25 with 1×daily 77W.

Two new routes announced by BA both to places called "San Jose"

LHR-SJC-LHR will have F on BA from 04 May 2016 as BA 279/278 (op by 789)
LGW-SJO-LGW will have F on BA from 04 May 2016 as BA 2237/2236 (op by 777)

BA provide the following advice to avoid confusion :D

In order to cut down confusion between the two new BA destinations, please always use the terms “San Jose - California” or “San Jose - Costa Rica” when speaking with a customer.

RobbertS Nov 29, 2015 7:22 am

AA switched to the 787 earlier in the year, but have since switched back to the three-class 777, which is on the schedule through the booking period. AA sells F on this, at least for now.

It might be worth noting that AA designates the retrofitted 777 (without F) as 772 rather than 777. So, if you see an AA 772 on the schedule or timetable, it has no F.

For at least the past month or so JAL has had first to SYD. A quick search on the BA award site showed some seats available at least through the end of the month.

Aye since 25 October

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/japan...appen-syd.html

I flew one way in the old aircraft and it was one of the worst flights I've had in 2015 :(

Flew back the other way with flat seats and it was one of the best :)
