ciao oneworld4u,
i'm currently skyteam elite on AZ (freccia alata +). starting from next week i'll begin travelling a lot to london on BA metal (first flight BA 565), is there any chance to get status matched?
i lost the last promotion you've done in italy
thanks
m

Seriously are you suggesting that because you posted yesterday for the first time in nearly 6 months on any forum that there have been no other OW related issues that were important enough for you as the deemed OW rep to respond to?
If you want to see how it's done properly go and have a look at the SPG forum.
Mods - my suggestion is that this thread be shut down and removed from stickies. It seriously does not warrant the consideration/prominence IMHO.
Very dissapointing.

Unfortunately that means interesting questions will remain unanswered in this thread, such as
:- what potential new members are OW talking to?
- is OW considering an alliance-wide extra baggage allowance for elites like *A?
- is OW considering alliance-wide ability to upgrade with points on any member airline from full Y fares like ST and some *A airlines?

10 years contest question
Last year there was a "10 years" contest run by oneworld in which they were asking for people's ideas for where the alliance should go in the next 10 years. Was curious whether the winning idea was posted and what it was. It's such a competitive industry, it's difficult to imagine what would be innovative (and within cost).

Another 10 years contest question
Last year we had the "10 Airlines, 10 Years = 10% Off for 10 Weeks" promo
Since then MX has joined the alliance
So when can we expect the "11 Airlines, 11 Years = 11% Off for 11 Weeks" promo
And next year, when S7 has joined
When can we expect...

Dear oneworld4u, I know it has been discussed many time times on FlyerTalk but I have not found a definitive answer to my question. Is there any way to know in advance which third party lounges listed on oneworld.com allow access based on OW status (e.g. a lounge contracted by Malev when flying with Malev metal and flight number and using BA OW Sapphire FF card).

Dear oneworld4u,
I am currently thinking of moving to Vancouver, BC next year as I have many friends in the Pacific NW region.
When I do, I'd like to work for OW as airline alliances has always fascinated me. But with little experience in the aviation industry, I do not think I can be fit immediately. Does OW have an internship program where a prospective employee might be able to rack up some skills?

If I were you kebosabi I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for an answer from oneworld4u. His/her last post "post" was on Feb 9th (post# 238)
I'm still waiting for an answer to my post on Feb 10th (post# 240), even though we were originally told
(from post #4, my emphasis)

As Kiwiflyer points out, responding this is just one of many, many tasks we have to perform, so please be patient if it takes us a few days to respond to points you post.
