Funny, I always read it that you could choose 1 trip from each of the three routes - to/from Perth, Broome and Darwin but never put it to the test.
Rightly or wrongly Mileage Monkey is happy with
BNE-PER-DRW-SYD-BME
1: LAX-BNE: intercontinental
2: BNE-PER: 1st of 4 (Southwest Pacific)
3: PER-DRW: 2nd of 4 (Southwest Pacific)
4: DRW-SYD: 3rd of 4 (Southwest Pacific)
5: SYD-BME: 4th of 4 (Southwest Pacific)
6: BME-SYD: surface
7: SYD-LHR: intercontinental
8: LHR-LAX: intercontinental
Congratulations!! Valid itinerary!!! - (31165 miles)

While you may have thought you can choose from each of the three routes listed there is nothing in the rules or in people's experiences as reported on this board that would support that conclusion.

120 BA Status Points within Australia
Slightly OT but anyone looking to collect a relatively easy 120 BA status points with an OZ trans-con on a DONE4+ is limited to just these routes;
BNE/CNS/SYD - Perth vv
Or
SYD - BME vv (Just twice a week tho')
(NB MEL - DRW is not currently listed in OW timetable)
All of which are just over the magic 2000 miles
Those that fall painfully short are SYD - DWN (1962) and MEL-BME (1932) - both a long way to go for 40 SC!

By way of explanation, I simply don't have the time at present to read most threads, so I am relying on the experts on this forum to help me identifying problems with MM. If I can get a clear indication of what is broken, or what needs fixing (perhaps demonstrated by a sample itinerary link) then I will be able to update MM accordingly. Please do post in the feedback thread though, as that is the only one I check (link to it is available from the MM tool itself).

Learnt something i didn't know! That is very interesting and being based in NZ for the next couple of years, this could see me keep Gold (with a couple of BA metal flights to keep in the 4 flight rule).

Since NZ don't fly to SIN anymore, the Airpoints earning on exNZ-SIN is pretty shocking down the back of the plane (on SQ metal).
