All of which are just over the magic 2000 miles

Those that fall painfully short are SYD - DWN (1962) and MEL-BME (1932) - both a long way to go for 40 SC!

But don't forget you can get those luscious long-haul Tier Points on the short haul flights provided you use the BA codeshare numbers.
