I'm afraid you won't be able to shirk your share of the thanks with that. No raw data, nothing for WBT's fine efforts to work on.

Many thanks again to kanebear! ^

The bad news for Egypt, as noted above, is that it is no longer an interesting origin for AONEx trips. For DONEx it's still not too bad. Other price hikes affect Japan, Indonesia and North America.
Thanks for all the hard work of putting this together! And thanks to Kanebear for the info!

One quick bug - Priced in USD, for business class, 5 continents - Ethiopia is coming up $99. Oh, I wish this were the case.

Thanks again. Gotta start thinking about planning my RTW. Any suggestion as to how far in advance to buy the ticket?

A week or two before you start should be sufficient to make sure there is time to address any glitches.

But as for making your reservations - do that as soon as you are reasonably certain what you want, and just blag your way into holding them until you have got a ticket issued and hence a ticket number to associate with the reservations.

Interesting new info at end of file re: handwritten tickets.

69N HANDWRITTEN TICKET NUMBER SSR REQUIREMENT
70N ------------------------------------------
71N .
72N WHEN A TICKET MUST BE HANDWRITTEN, IT IS NECESSARY TO
73N MANUALLY INSERT AN SSR MESSAGE TO ADVISE THE TICKET
74N NUMBER TO ALL CARRIERS IN THE ITINERARY. THIS WILL
75N PREVENT THE OTHER CARRIERS FROM CANCELLING SPACE DUE
76N TO NO TICKET NUMBER. THE STRICT FORMAT IS MANDATORY IN
77N ORDER FOR THE TELETYPE MESSAGE TO BE GENERATED TO THE
78N OTHER AIRLINES. ADDING THE TICKET NUMBER TO THE 7T-
79N FIELD DOES NOT GENERATE A MESSAGE. YOU MUST USE THE
80N SSR ENTRY.
81N EXAMPLE:
82N .
83N 3SSR OTHS YY TKNM 001 XXXXXXXXXXX /SPACE/ /DATE OF
84N ISSUE/ /DASH/ /NAME NUMBER/ /SEPARATE MULTIPLE TICKET
85N NUMBERS WITH SLASH/
86N .
87N E.G. 3SSR OTHS YY TKNM 001XXXXXXXXXXX /SPACE/

Now that Kenya is a country in Africa that allows 2 entrances to Europe, I wonder if the following is a valid 5 continent routing. I never really understood this exception. Also I cant use the OW validator at this time.
NBO-LHR-HKG-SYD-HKG-asia segments-LAX-usa segments-LHR-europe segments-NBO (transit in LHR & HKG enroute to SYD)

WearyBizTrvlr: Thanks for differentiating the Peak and Basic LONEx fares in the countries where the fare is seasonal. I think you have the UK Peak and UK Basic fares reversed, incidentally (presumably Peak should cost more than Basic).

I actually find the differences between the LONEx fares are now more striking than the DONEx and AONEx fares. A LONEx bought in London is as low as USD2323; in North America it's USD4100. When it can drop as low as a 6 hour return flight for USD300-400 in winter to fly between the US east coast and the UK, I find this difference pretty staggering.

Perhaps if I keep in the spreadsheet long enough they'll honor it?

You're right of course.

All will be fixed in the next version, coming out soon.

What is the 1,2,3 AREA Definition in the Star File?

Under reservations/ticketing the star file has two different tables for the number of days required for reservation and ticketing prior to departure.

ORIGIN IN AREA 1

ORIGIN IN AREA 2/3

Does anyone know what these areas are? I didn't see it defined in the start file.

Thanks.
