I'm doing the same soon as well. I did some searching about this. The BA lounge isn't open for very long before the QR flight departs, but it's supposed to be dire anyway. I can't actually find if QR give you a voucher for the 3rd party lounge in their terminal but also doesn't seem like a great lounge. Seems the best is the AS lounge in the N gate area, but allow plenty of time to get to the QR gates since train transfers are necessary.
I actually regret it now, because I have to arrive in SEA pretty early and will have about a 5-6 hour layover as a result. That was enough time I could have just built in a connection to LAX and taken QF740 out of there, with either the AA FL or QF F lounge available.

The QR SEA-DOH flight currently departs at 505p. The BA lounge reopens for the afternoon at 2pm.
I wouldnt call it dire (there are many more lounges that serve BA flights that deserve that term more than SEA). Although small it has windows and the food wont be picked over that much at the time OP will be visiting. The OP could take the transfer train from the south loop to the north loop and visit the AS N lounge if he wants to have some excellent soup and beer.

I'm still kicking myself for not thinking of tagging SEA-LAX onto my ticket though, I had one extra segment open that I could have used (DONE5), I've got so much downtime there with nothing to do really. I'm assuming my luggage will be checked through to DOH, but I'm not keen on carrying my backpack with my PC around all day in the city (b/c of both weight and crime) and the luggage storage at SEA is pretty offensively priced. I'm going to see how easy it is to get to the Museum of Flight on public transportation, that's one place I haven't been there that is interesting.
