It's definitely a great data point for BAEC credit. And likely good info for people looking at this in the future who want to maximize Avios earnings to pick and choose codeshares to avoid revenue earning since on these tickets it'll never be even close to distance base.

That's no different than I do crediting to AAdvantage now. I won't have an AA code that is avoidable. Many domestic segments and Central / South America have to be AA codes, so no choice there. But I'm so over my needed LPs this year I'm crediting several flights this month and next month to AS, despite earning fewer miles there are sweet spots in the AS award chart that beat AAdvantage any day, so a great 3rd OW currency to hold a small-ish balance in.
