Its fine, assuming that you total journey is less than 20 total segments. The region segment count does not include the flights between regions. So HNL-SYD wouldn't count for either SWP or North America, but it will count for the 20 total segments.
Also, just a minor change. There is no LHR-LGA flight, so just change it to Newark or JFK and you will be fine.

Hi!
Welcome to Flyertalk! (as this is your 1st post)
except you are intended to do a R/T DFW-YVR-DFW, you can actually go JFK-YVR instead and save one N.A segment (P.S. however you are only allowed 1 Transcon, which JFK-YVR is one).

thanks guys. i think the reason im going from LGA-DFW-YVR is cos i couldnt get a seat on the JFK-YVR direct (or so the agent said). might try it a again though now that i think about it cos it would save alot of time and hassle

You'll find CX flies JFK-YVR direct - though the time isn't so great for the flight - departing 10pm, arriving 1am or thereabouts (the YVR-JFK segment is much friendlier for timing
). But it certainly can be done on a RTW ticket.
