QF Code Share on BA

I noticed a while back that someone had purchased a ticket fron LHR-AMS that was a QF Code share operated by BA. I was wondering if anyone has taken this flight and weather the segment credited properly as a QF flight to their mileage account?

Rich-
I flew CDG-LHR on a QF codeshare with BA. Still hasn't posted (flight was 10/27). My BA and IB flights from around that same time period have posted. I spoke with AA and they said it shouldn't be a problem; but to fax the ticket & boarding pass just in case. So I'll wait a little while longer... One interesting note was that the BA and IB flights posted BEFORE an AA flight that I had taken. Go figure.

Cheers,

Good news: Flight posted.

Bad news: It posted as the BA flight.

I called AAdvantage Gold customer service and was helped by a very friendly and helpful Susie. She took care of it right over the phone - no worries. There goes another one of those S.O.S. cards!

Same advice as ever: Watch your statements and keep copies of everything.

Cheers,

Thanks for the reply H'Toad. I just took the QF code share flight last week and as you said it did appear as a BA flight. I will call American when I return to the states and hope I have as much luck as you in getting it changed.

My guess is that others will not have as much luck with the other 1 workd carriers Frequent Flyer departments.

Anyone tried with BA or CX? or did they credit properly.

Hows this for digging up an old post!!

Just to confirm that I would earn full points by flying the QF codeshare on BA as an AA plat (particularly QF302 from LHR-SIN)??

Thanks.

Depends on the booking class. If in 1st, business or economy in K class or higher, then yes

If in a lower eligable discount basis, then will earn at 50% plus status bonus

I believe:
QF302 is LHR-BKK-SYD
QF320 is LHR-SIN-SYD
