It should not be a problem. But, it sometimes is. If you want to be certain, bring the card.

If you can't bring the card and don't have your status through a carrier which provides a digital replica, ask the carrier to email a PDF or fax you a letter or whatever it generally supplies as proof. They all have something as a backup.

What about the other way round?

I am QF platinum (OW emerald) but want to credit my flight to BA Blue (to build BA status and Avios). Will I be allowed to use OW first lounges on production of my QF Card and, if so, is there somewhere in the rules this is written so I can show the lounge staff incase they say no.

Many thanks

Give the lounge dragon your BP and your QF OWE card and tell them you want to credit to BA, they should let you in.

Entering the JFK Admirals Club with my bp with my AAdvantage number plus my Airberlin Sapphire card works every time.

They'll scan the barcode on the boarding pass and base admission to the lounge on that. If you have different status in another program then whats in the booking, you can show the card. They may want you to change the numbers in the booking so that the status used to enter the lounge is what is shown on the boarding pass.
If they change the FFP in the booking at the lounge, have the gate agents change it back before boarding.

In theory, bookings can hold up to 4 different programs, with each used for a different thing, but many agents don't know how to do this.

Last year I didn't have an issue at BA, IB or QF lounges without my card as a OW Sapphire flying in Y.

Thanks for your help
I always carry a printed copy of my BAEC status card, printed off the BA website.
