Has anyone actually managed to book (as opposed to just price) an itinerary with the new tool? I tried a couple of days ago, and after inputting credit card details and hitting "pay", I got a very uninformative error message:
"The following error(s) occurred: An error occurred during creation of your booking. Please contact your Travel Assistance Desk to check if the booking was successful and to obtain further assistance. (9015)" The AA RTW desk couldn't find a booking in my name (the online tool didn't generate a locator), so assumed the booking had not gone through. They advised me to try again, which I did - resulting in the same error message. Curious if anyone has had more success! NYLON Boy |
Thanks for that post NYLON Boy - I tried booking a DONE4 just now, and no luck. It claimed the credit card wasn't accepted. Disappointing, as my first flight was an AY marketed BA flight - I guess I have to try phoning AY tomorrow.

9015 error here too.
First flight was on LAN but it said it was booking through AA. I got a transaction for 0 BGN from AMERICAN AIRLI AA FTW US on my credit card authorization statement. |
I called the AA RTW desk telling them about the error and they just took me through the process of booking it on the phone (even though I have no AA segments). Turns out 3 of the flights that the online tool showed as available actually weren't according to the AA representative. I had to change routing and carriers. Finally she gave me a code and told me they would have a price in 24h and then I can book. However when I called the next day they still had no price. In the mean time I tried to go through the online tool again, changing the itinerary so that it matches the one the AA RTW desk believed was OK. Unfortunately the tool is completely unusable today. Once I make a few changes the Price button just stays grayed out and going back to the map screen shows the itinerary as unfinished even though it clearly is. This is so frustrating as I already bought a flight to the city I'm starting in...

Having booked several trips in years past successfully I had hoped to use the site for a new itin. I can't get access to several individual flights with "checking flight availability, please wait" spinning incessantly.
I gather OneWorld member airlines are not interested in expanding their RTW business otherwise they would fix the site. |

Okey, I want to book and pay for 2 x adult, 1 x child and 1 x infant DONE5 (5 continent business class) One World Explorer ex-Cairo.
I live in the UK. Any suggestions for the best way to do this? |

I live in the UK. Any suggestions for the best way to do this? If you want the ex-Cairo price, one way or other, the ticket needs to be issued in Cairo. Either via the booking tool, or you find an agent in Egypt willing to take payment and issue the tickets online. |
