So, 24.00.00 hours is OK?

Haven't seen the problem since I planned an XONEX starting in GIB (-LGW--LHR)

That was like 7-8 years ago

I can't speak to any OW carrier's rules, but DL's systems allow an exactly 24-hour connection, as I ticketed one on an M fare that allowed one free stopover, and I had a three day stopover in a location other than where I had my 24-hour connection.
