Yes. The move to etickets prevents the use of city codes in ticketed tickets.

And, apparently, the refusal of BA to accept paper tickets issued by other airlines greatly reduces the scope for avoiding this restriction imposed in the name of "progress".

Correct, you won't be able to get this (e)ticketed anymore. LGA/LGW/HND have become really problematic airports for people who require all segments.

It's been more than 2 years since we were sternly told that there could be no more paper tickets. And yet they are still around apparently. BA's move is no doubt another stake to the heart but the beast refuses to die!
