New Booking Fee
So I was looking to make an award reservation from ICN-HKG. Found some flights that I liked, and got a nice little error when trying to make the reservation. Looks like there is a new DL fee of 5,400$ for every new award reservation.
What I really like is the cost without using miles, a cool 1.2million. I guess spending 45,000miles is a good value when you are saving over a million

Thank you for your continued loyalty to Northwest, now a part of Delta.

PS-NW still charges "close in ticketing fee" within 14 days of travel. Check the fee chart for full details.
