AS Upgrade Certs
I requested my AS upgrade certs on 3/1/04.
Haven't received them yet.
Has anyone received the 2004 certs?

Haven't received them yet. I have an AS flight 10Mar and will try to use an 2003 cert.

I also requested them on 3/1 - Still haven't seen them. Probably wont use them either.
Should I look to put them out a the coupon exchange?

Does anyone have any suggestions. I have a AS flight Friday night (3/12). Sent in the NW Plat coupons request via the web on 3/1 and have not recieved anything.
Actually could not get any seat assignment for the flight because it must be pretty full already.
It is a rather short flight, should I just web checkin 24 hours before the flight and hope for a non-middle coach seat?

shhh, keep it low-key... but all I did was show my NWA Elite card at the Alaska counters in SFO & LAX and the agents there upgraded me on both legs.
Nobody mentioned or asked for certs.
They may be able to do this for you as well.

You are lucky.....I was there a couple of times last year, AS's agent wasn't all that friendly, and I got thrown to the back....way back.....

Have not received mine yet either.
My question...What upgrade time frame do these certs cover...day of travel or can you upgrade flights in advance.
4 of us are flying OMA-DEN-ANC roundtrip (OMA-DEN on united).
If it is "same day upgrade ONLY", does that mean we have to wait until we are in DEN to try to use certs?

You can upgrade in advance if it's a Y fare, otherwise same-day, and it varies whether or not you can do the second segment when starting the first, my experience is mostly you have to do it checking in for the second segment.

I called the elite line Sunday since I still have no certs in hand. The agent I spoke with put me on hold a while and said her Supervisor indicated they would be going out by the end of the Month (April). I don't need one until May so no problem, but a two month delay from the start of the program year seems like a bit much.

I hope next year Worldperks has a different procedure in place to process these certs. Although, I was able to use 2 of last years certs. during the month of March.

Nothing and it's been a month since I requested them.
Going out at the end of April? It's annoying -- two months without valid certs. Why not mail them out earlier for proven elites who are eligible?
