My question...What upgrade time frame do these certs cover...day of travel or can you upgrade flights in advance.

4 of us are flying OMA-DEN-ANC roundtrip (OMA-DEN on united).

If it is "same day upgrade ONLY", does that mean we have to wait until we are in DEN to try to use certs?
