I plan on probably 0 EQMs for the rest of the year. Doing LCCs and Amtrak for domestic trips, buying J class tickets (cheaper than NW) across the ocean, and burning my 300,000 miles on my parents for their WBC trip to Asian using Gold/Platinum preferred availability. I'm ditching the golden handcuffs.
I'm extremely angry about the limited availability of WBC seats throughout the year for base members. Their international upgrade "awards" are a joke, as I can just pay a few hundred dollars more than an upgradeable fare for a business class ticket from a consolidator.

Another soft landing here
Despite crediting zero miles to WorldPerks last year (all went to Continental status), dropped from Plat to Silver for next year.
Nice to know they are doing soft landing but since I'm CO Plat now, won't do me much good.
