Question regarding ticket changes
I booked 2 tickets last night on NWA.com,
Ticket 1 = Used 25K miles for flight. Leaves MSP-STL today 7:19PM and STL-MSP on Sunday
Ticket 2 = CyberSaver ticket. Leaves MSP-STL today 7:19PM and returns Monday.
I screwed up and accidentally had the return flight for Monday on ticket 2, I wanted Sunday. My question is is that the person using ticket 1 is going to be driving back from STL with a friend so that ticket will go unused. Since I booked and paid for both flights is there some way I can get my name on the Sunday flight (ticket 1) that will not be used? Then I won't need the Monday flight.
Thanks

No.
If you purchased ticket #2 since 12:01AM CT Thursday morning (late Wednesday night to some people) you may cancel without penalty and rebook. Be warned, however, that NW's refunds are s-l-o-w. Other airlines, like US Airways, have the same guarantee and their refunds post within 24 hours.

Bagels is talking about the customer first policy. It allows at least 24 hours. If you purchased the tickets anytime on Thursday they may not be ticketed yet. Call reservations and either a.)ask them to switch the names (they might have to cancel and re-book the tickets, but within 24 hours there is no fee) or b.) cancel and re-book. There should still be W availability, but you need to check that before you cancel.

I don't believe the customer first rule applies to CyberSavers. Says so in the fare rules if I'm correct. If I remember correctly they are non-changeable, non-refundable, and lose all value if not used for the flights ticketed. Also I don't believe a Cybersaver allows a sunday return, so you wouldn't have been able to book it with a sunday return to begin with.
If you want to use the award ticket yourself it will have to be redeposited. This means paying the $50 redeposit fee.

He probably meant webfare. NW didn't offer any CyberSavers this week. The Customers First rule does apply to webfares.

Issued or not
All of this really comes down to if the tickets have been issued or not. The website tends to issue the tickets faster than if you call in and book them. However, the website sometimes takes at least till midnight to do it.
If the tickets have not been issued (ie. No e-ticket number when you pull up your reservation), than you can make any changes/redeposit, or whatever else without fees. Once the ticket has been issued customer first/WP rules etc, come into play.
I don't exactly know how CF plays with WP award tickets. As a Plat I am exempt from the Re-deposit fees and have not really thought about whether CF would apply or not. It states for "purchased" tickets, but you could probably find an agent that would apply it to award tickets also, since technically you did "purchase" them with miles.
