I don't believe the customer first rule applies to CyberSavers. Says so in the fare rules if I'm correct. If I remember correctly they are non-changeable, non-refundable, and lose all value if not used for the flights ticketed. Also I don't believe a Cybersaver allows a sunday return, so you wouldn't have been able to book it with a sunday return to begin with.

If you want to use the award ticket yourself it will have to be redeposited. This means paying the $50 redeposit fee.
