Nope, Restaurant Oriental has plenty of Szechuan dishes on the menu. There's also a restaurant called China Szechuan in Munchs gate. Not as good as Dinner or Restaurant Oriental, but decent and a lot cheaper

I remember three restaurant there: TGI Friday's, McDonalds and - seriously - Lofoten at the far end of the Brygge (which was indeed a very good seafood place)

There's a actually a good breakfast place at Aker Brygge at Bryggetorget (the square in the back), Beach Club. My favourite breakfast place in the area. They also have awesome burgers the rest of the day.
PS. They usually open pretty late in the winter (10-11ish I would guess)

My one and only experience with Druen was part of a big group and my experience was so bad I always go out of my to not recommend the place. The service and food was soo bad that Norwegians were sending it back. And that is pretty extreme for Norwegians as they NEVER complain about service. We were like 30 people and with prearranged dishes and they still managed to take almost 2 hours to prepare our main course and then half the dishes had obviously been made over an hour ago since the sauce had gone all stiff. The waiters were sourly and even managed to loose a used fork down one of the guests sweaters without as much as an apology. I remember I ordered nacho chips with dip as a starter and dumping handfull of chips into a bowl and some dip onto smaller bowls took over an hour, and at that point they were already serving the main dish...
There is a restaurant at Bryggetorget with a slightly danish sounding name which I have a lovely experience with. Good food, expert waiters and a good feel at the place. Can't remember what it was called though.

I haven't eaten in Druen for a couple of years now, but the lunch they serve is pretty good. The winelist is also pretty good.. I remember the Skagen Sandwich with shrimps and lyrom. Also Druen Spesial, a ham and melted, aged cheese Sandwich. Used to go there a lot when I worked in the area.
I'm sure if you visit this place as a smaller party, the result will be much better

Slightly moderate pricewise (by Norwegian standards that is) could be: Restaurant Eik 2. etasje in Hotel Continental, set menu at NOK 5-600, with wine pairing it'll run you approx. NOK 1,100.- Great setting, lots of buzz. Beware though, there is only the one menu.
A newcomer amongst the gastronomically ambitious is Restaurant Oscars gate, fantastic creative cuisine, meticilously prepared with attention to detail, maybe a bit too much so.. Don't eat a la carte, go for the menu with a wine pairing that actually DOES give you value for money. The full monty will set you back NOK 1,700.-
