Smile Another service that provides multiple luggage storage options

Recently this service https://vertoe.com has also popped up. It seems to already have a few luggage storage options near Penn station, Times Square, etc.. Price is $10 per bag per day.

Penn station
There are two options
a) 334 West 37th Street
b) 357 7th Ave

Times square
580 8th Ave

Between Times sq. and Columbus Circle
799 8th Ave

I presume that soon they will have more locations ... ^

Luggage Storage NYC

I was unable to check-in to my short-term apt rental until the evening and needed to store my luggage. While looking for a place to stash them, I learned that after 9/11 many places (train stations, museums, etc) stopped offering the service. There are a few companies in the city that offer storage but I went with the one with the most glowing reviews on Google, Yelp! and FB- Short-Term Stow, located 2 blocks from Penn Station. The service is exceptional.

Post after checkout - temporary luggage storage NYC

I’m planning a 3 day trip to NYC, and thinking of getting a hotel or AirBnB in Brooklyn for 2D and 2N. My return flight is at night from Newark, so, i was hoping to use the final day to explore Manhattan, but my luggage will surely weigh me down. Can I leave my luggage with the host for the rest of the day? Is there any other solution for my luggage problem?

Penn Station has a baggage storage office. Or it used to. I'm sure the NYC posters can confirm if it is still open.

So many different threads.

It seems if you have one carry on size roller bag and a backpack with ~8-10 hours in NYC the Terminal 1 storage is a good option? Will be flying out of Terminal 1 as well.

Online says call ahead but is that really necessary? How many people are using the service?

Arriving/Departing different JFK terminals. Advice?

Need advice on JFK-specific storage for a few hours. Flying into T8 next week at 3pm (AA), leaving from T1 (DY) at 10:30pm, and planning to meet a friend at a restaurant in Brooklyn for a couple hours during the layover. Would it be best to go T8->T1 when I land and have my bag at T1 when I return? I've only been through JFK once before, so I'm not very familiar with how easy it is to go between terminals. Would it be easier to try and store at an airport hotel? Or should I just take my bags with me into Brooklyn?

The "All Terminals" AirTrain will get you from T8 to T1 in about ten minutes -- free of charge. I would store the bag at T1 before heading to Brooklyn.

How are you planning to get to Brooklyn from JFK? Bus to subway? AirTrain to subway? AirTrain to Long Island Rail Road? Taxi/car service?

Thanks. I hadn't fully decided yet, but I was thinking an Uber/Lyft would be reasonable. Any advice?
